Today we went to Skagen. It’s a great place and we haven’t been for there for I think 15 years.
Skagen grey lighthouse, or just Skagen Lighthouse – is 46 meters high and the second highest lighthouse in Denmark. You can climb it’s 210 steps and enjoy a fantastic view over the area.
The sand-covered church – the 14th-century church has over the years been buried in sand from the nearby dunes.
Coffee break.
Råbjerg Mile – is a migrating coastal dune.
We were lucky that the rare Hoopoe was visiting Skagen and even more lucky to actually get to see it.
On the way home we went by our favourite burger joint and got some dinner.
