Today we are totally relaxing at the campsite. Porchetta/provolone/pesto-sandwich for lunch. Playing cards. Relaxing some more. Drinking wine and preparing dinner. Potaoes in the Omnia oven and cevapcici on the Skotti.

Today we went shopping for wine, pasta and other delicacies π Spotted this Hoopoe in a tree on our way out from the campsite. We had stopped and looked for the Scops owls, as we found the tree where they were roosting last night, but no luck this time. Puff pastry in the Omnia oven….

Another day exploring. Coffee break and birdwatching. We came across a flock of at least 20 Cattle egrets – amazing sight as they are not that common in either Germany nor Denmark. Lunch in the middle of Β nowhere π There is a lot of abandoned farm houses in the area. Unfortunately we couldn’t get inside…
Italy – part II.
It is very noisy at the campsite, so we went exploring some of the local birding spots. Black-winged stilt. Greater flamingo. Pied avocet. Risotto for dinner at the campsite. Ahh quiet at the site, so we can enjoy the sound of Scops owls calling from some nearby trees.

We arrived in Italy just passed noon, and check in at the campsite wasn’t until 4 o’clock so we had some time to explore the area. Easy dinner – pizza from the restaurant just a couple of steps away. Relaxing on the terrace with a glass of of wine π
