Another day exploring. Coffee break and birdwatching. We came across a flock of at least 20 Cattle egrets – amazing sight as they are not that common in either Germany nor Denmark. Lunch in the middle of nowhere 🙂 There is a lot of abandoned farm houses in the area. Unfortunately we couldn’t get inside…
It is very noisy at the campsite, so we went exploring some of the local birding spots. Black-winged stilt. Greater flamingo. Pied avocet. Risotto for dinner at the campsite. Ahh quiet at the site, so we can enjoy the sound of Scops owls calling from some nearby trees.
We arrived in Italy just passed noon, and check in at the campsite wasn’t until 4 o’clock so we had some time to explore the area. Easy dinner – pizza from the restaurant just a couple of steps away. Relaxing on the terrace with a glass of of wine 😉

Slow morning – everybody did some stuff on their own and in the afternoon we went for a drive in the area. Toast for lunch. Nachos for dinner. We only brought our analog cameras on todays drive, so we have to wait for more photos 😛
We arrived in Austria late thursday evening after a really long drive – normally the drive takes 4 hours, but because of roadwork it took us 8 hours. Steffi and Florian arrived friday at noon, and we spend the day getting settled and did some shopping before the supermarkets closed for easter. Before they arrived…
We finally found time for installing the new awning – the Horizon from Horntools. It’s freestanding, but we want to take a bit of weight of our roof rack, so if we are at a place for longer we will use the support poles. It has build-in dimmable light for a cozy evening mood.
We found a nice solution for all those little things you never know where to put. The SKÅDIS board is perfect behind the driverseat – it doesn’t take up much room.
Last day and we decided to visit the Terezin Memorial, that’s located about one hour north of Prague. On the way we passed this abandoned place and wanted to check it out, but there was some No trespass signs so we just took a quick look inside the courtyard and we went on our way….
Day two and we continue to explore this great city. We just had to go and get coffee at Cafe NONA, because the interior is just stunning. The green marble is just amazing. We grabbed a pizza for dinner and went exploring, while Manu and Sonja went to one of the local restaurants for dinner….
