Sylvenstein area is our goal today. Lunch at Sylvenstein Speicher. On our way back we passed a local dairy farm and we just had to stop and get some local cheese 🙂 They also had some liqueur from a local distillery. Evening coffee before driving back home.
Road trip to Weßlinger see. This is such a beautiful area. We found a local coffee shop and bought some coffee beans. Pocket coffee – can’t live without it 😉 Dinner at the lake. We passed a winery on our way home and we had to try a bottle og local wine.
I’m doing crossword puzzles to pass time on the long drive home 😀
We took one last drive to one of the local birding places. We are heading back to Bavaria in a few days.
Hmm someone (Shh it was Mads :-P) broke the screen in Viggo, so we had to order a new one and get it installed before driving back to Bavaria. It was raining and it took most of the day to exchange it.
One last meet up with friends before our vacation is over. We tried out the cookies again and this time we had better luck and ended up with a full batch of eatable cookies 😀
We started the day with a visit to Rosenbeck Frilandskød a farmshop with pork and beef products. Lunch in Frederikshavn. Coffee at Jerup strand. Some bird photography at the beach in the evening sun.
We have been looking for some storage under the sofa, but we haven’t found anything that fits perfectly, so Mads decided to make some. Two wooden boxes and as they did them themselves they have the perfect measurements.
We have spend the day in Lille Vildmose. Coffee break. We saw the moose 😛
Some family members that live in Spain came for a visit and we spend some days with them. We went on a tasting of local rum and gin, fires up the barbecue and went on a bike ride to the beach.
