Slow morning – everybody did some stuff on their own and in the afternoon we went for a drive in the area. Toast for lunch. Nachos for dinner. We only brought our analog cameras on todays drive, so we have to wait for more photos 😛
We arrived in Austria late thursday evening after a really long drive – normally the drive takes 4 hours, but because of roadwork it took us 8 hours. Steffi and Florian arrived friday at noon, and we spend the day getting settled and did some shopping before the supermarkets closed for easter. Before they arrived…
One last meet up with friends before our vacation is over. We tried out the cookies again and this time we had better luck and ended up with a full batch of eatable cookies 😀
We are meeting up with some friends for a BBQ and some photography. Its rut season and we were lucky to see some amazing animals.
We went to Denmark to help out Mette’s dad putting up a new fence. He‘s so tired, so we decided to go up there and help him finish. We are almost done with one side. For dinner we made a slow cooked stew on the fire pit in the garden.
A spontaneous bbq in Freising with Florian. Experimenting with cookies on the grill – its wasn’t great, but we learned what not to do, so it will be better next time 😛
Last day and we went birdwatching in the local area.
On our second day we went sightseeing in some of the small villages. Lunch 😉 Burgers on the bbq for dinner.
We are going to Alsace with Steffi and Florian for the weekend. We just spend the day exploring Alsace and went back over the border to Kaiserstuhl on our first day.
