Today we went shopping for wine, pasta and other delicacies 😛 Spotted this Hoopoe in a tree on our way out from the campsite. We had stopped and looked for the Scops owls, as we found the tree where they were roosting last night, but no luck this time. Puff pastry in the Omnia oven….
Another day exploring. Coffee break and birdwatching. We came across a flock of at least 20 Cattle egrets – amazing sight as they are not that common in either Germany nor Denmark. It is very noisy at the campsite, so we went exploring some of the local birding spots. Black-winged stilt. Greater flamingo. Pied avocet. Risotto for dinner at the campsite. Ahh quiet at the site, so we can enjoy the sound of Scops owls calling from some nearby trees.
